This art project is intended to raise money for people less fortunate via Danish Red Cross while at the same time hopefully help one gain an insight into what happiness is.

I have asked prominent Danish individuals from all walks of life about happiness and given them two pages in the book to write about what happiness is for them and what makes them happy. Each person will have five days to write, perhaps insert pictures or print-outs or simply draw what they think happiness is.

The book will be sent from each individual to another over the course of a year making the book truly unique. A book with hand written inserts, pictures or cutouts making each and every page truly one of a kind. After fifty two weeks the book will be transformed from mere empty pages to true art.

This rare and unique only one of kind book will then be sold at auction to the highest bidder where all proceeds will go to Danish Red Cross. After the auction, a limited number of signed copies of the book will be sold in bookstores - again with all proceeds going to Danish Red Cross.

Project Happiness was simple: to make someones day, make someone happy or make someone smile.

The idea; send small framed paintings to my friends, fans, and art collectors and hopefully put a smile on their face. All the small paintings are originally from one large painting which has been cut into 35 smaller paintings..

Project Masha was a painting I did for Masha Lund - the very pretty blond lady you see above and Jannik Orlander Jannik is an artist himself, although his medium is not paint but jewelry. He owns the Nialaya brand – a very personalized type of jewelry which he has had huge success with and has taken Hollywood by storm.

The painting was part of a TV show called "Hollywood Wives" which is a reality show shot here in Los Angeles and aired in Scandinavia. The project was some what difficult for me, as with all commissioned work since, the buyer already has a view in his head of how the painting should look like, style, colours and size. To live up to that or better yet to deliver above that is difficult for any artist, me included.

I am very pleased to say that Jannik and Masha loved it.
